Women’s History Month: Florence Nightingale

As part of Women’s History month, the learners have explored Florence Nightingale’s innovations on hygiene. To achieve this, they listened to a lesson on Florence, including her history and her famous actions before engaging in a comprehension task to test their ability to learn and recall information.

Once the lesson was complete, the learners watched a video highlighting another heroic nurse, Mary Seacole, to explore another key figure who was given less attention at the time.
