This week at Thornbeck College learners have participated in Children’s Mental Health Week.

The theme this year is ‘Growing Together’ and learners and staff have worked together to create a growing together wall, with each learner being supported to identify an achievement they have made since starting at college.

Learners identified Maths achievements, computer safety, making their peers laugh and trying new activities. Staff identified being part of the Thornbeck college team, working with great young people and meditation as their achievements.

The campaign raises awareness of the importance of children and young people's mental health.
