Special Places - Church

As part of this term’s topic, Sun Class have been exploring religious special places.
Last week they visited St Edmund’s Church in Durham, where pupils were given a tour of the building. Pupils were able to recognise key features of the church, transferring the skills they learned during lessons in school.
Pupils also sang some hymns, explored the alters and rang the church bells.
