Mackenzie Thorpe praises school named in his honour
The world renowned artist and NEAS patron praised the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre during a visit to the Middlesbrough school.
Pupils from the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre’s Griffin Blue class indulged in a little bit of French this week as one of the pupils said they would like to learn some of the French language.Â
Exploring France, key moments in their history and even using Duo Lingo to learn a little of the language, pupils increased their awareness of the French language by using their digital skills.
The pupils worked together to find the French words in the interactive wordsearch, identifying places, French food, and phrases before embarking on their independent exploration of the language.
