Star Class – New School Year
Star Class have made a fantastic start to the new school year, settling back into their routines and enjoying lots of exciting activities.

New friendships at Emsworth
This school year we have seen new pupils start and progress here at our Emsworth site. We have had ups and downs but have emerged with happy, healthy pupils who have overcome worries with the help of their amazing staff teams and peers.
Two of these pupils are Paige, who started in September, and Grace who has just started this week. These two young people have struck up an amazing friendship.
Paige was extremely excited for Grace to start after her induction before Christmas, and when Grace started full-time, Paige made sure she was available and welcoming, offering to have lunch with Grace and asking to join in with activities.
Together they made Sensory Cloud gloop. The two girls found the recipe, ingredients, and equipment. Then working together, they managed to make excellent examples of pink gloop. Both Paige and Grace sampled each other’s efforts, squishing and squeezing their finished products and of course as any good friends do, clubbed together, laughing at their staff’s efforts!
Both Paige and Grace have been very considerate of each other’s feelings, and it has been an honour to watch this friendship develop and we will continue to support and encourage it as it grows. New beginnings and beautiful new friendships being made, along with hitting new targets and achievements.
Well done to Paige for being a fantastic example of kindness and friendship, and well done Grace for settling in so well and becoming a fantastic part of Class One!
