World Mental Health Day
Saturday 10th October was World Mental Health Day so class 2 wanted to celebrate and encourage everyone to promote something that makes them smile as well as do something to make others smile.
As part of their lessons in understanding the world, pupils in Rainbow Class explored potion making for Halloween.
As part of this lesson, the children got to explore art and design, and develop their fine motor skills by practicing removing lids, picking and squeezing the pipettes and pouring from jugs.
The children also developed their communication skills as they asked for help and for specific colours. They also had to communicate with their peers and manage their own emotions as they shared the resources and engaged in imaginative play.
