This online support is available for families across Durham and is suitable for those usually supported by our face-to-face sessions, including Toddler Groups, Family Support Groups and Family Workshops, or those who need extra support at this time.

These sessions are intended to bring support, emotional and practical advice, activities and information on other services available at this time of need. Trained autism practitioners will deliver online sessions that aim to:

  • Provide information, advice and signposting in relation to parents and their child’s needs.
  • Provide an opportunity where families can talk openly and spend time with others who may be in a similar situation.
  • Provide support to parents looking for appropriate, fun and engaging activities for their child at home.

We also offer online Introduction to Autism workshops, aimed at all family members.

Places are limited so for further information, or to register your place please contact Kerrie Highcock:  [email protected]

This is a free service thanks to the generosity of County Durham Community Foundation, who have kindly supported our online programme in Durham through the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal.

We have also received funding from Tesco Bags of Help to support families based in North Tyneside. Please get in touch with Kerrie Highcock for more information on how to access this support.
