First aid training

As part of their enrichment, pupils at our Emsworth site had Ed from our training team come to refresh their knowledge of first aid.

They covered basic first aid including how to give CPR, how to use a defibrillator, abdominal thrust manoeuvre for choking and how to treat minor injuries including applying bandages effectively.

Five pupils who took part have now been awarded their FAA Level 2 Award in Student First Aid. Well done everyone!
