Mackenzie Thorpe Centre

The Mackenzie Thorpe Centre is an independent specialist school based in South Bank, Redcar and Cleveland for pupils aged 5-19

Working together to inspire, support, celebrate and equip autistic and neurodiverse people to fulfil their potential in life.

On Thursday morning Mackenzie Thorpe Centre pupils were invited to attend an assembly with PC Geoff from Cleveland Police.

The topic was about the dangers of drugs. He discussed different types of legal and illegal drugs and how, even though some are legal they are still just as dangerous if not taken with supervision and care.

The learners engaged well, asking lots of questions and responding with very mature answers.

We are very proud!
