Thornhill Park School

Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

This week in Moon class pupils have made musical instruments in their Art lesson.

The pupils had a choice of instruments to make using recycled materials.

After observing staff model how to make a drum, a maraca and a rattle, pupils then chose their materials and set about making their own.

They chose how they wanted to decorate them using paints, gems and stickers and once they were completed they were able to use them within their music lesson.
