Changing seasons

This week Sun class enjoyed learning about seasonal changes in science.

They explored each of the four seasons and particularly enjoyed the practical elements of the lesson. Learners were able to identify each season using visual aids and a variety of items.

Different resources were used to engage multiple senses during the practical activities; for example, the sound of rain was recreated by dropping porridge oats onto an umbrella, and wind was demonstrated using a hand balloon pump. Learners then completed worksheets where they successfully matched sentences to the correct season.
