A busy week at the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre

Pupils from the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre have had a busy week: 

• They have been busy decorating their classrooms for the Euros and painting lots of flags
• Post 14 classes took part in an assembly delivered by a local PCSO, looking at drug and alcohol awareness which was very informative and they engaged well with.
• Blue class has been doing some cooking activities and have made dishes such as nachos, toffee apples and fruit smoothies! They have also been accessing a range of community environments such as shops for their cookery ingredients, and local parks.

A great week for all pupils at the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre! Well done!

To start Mackenzie Thorpe Schools celebrations for Pride Month, Red class have been busy making their own colourful flags, they used paints, colouring pens and pencils and lots of bright colours! Our pupils did a great job, well done!
