The North East Autism Society are excited to announce we have been short listed as a finalist in the 'Outstanding Contribution by a Larger Organisation’ category of the 2015 North East Equality Awards.

This is in recognition for the partnership between North East Autism Society and HMYOI Deerbolt. The aim of this partnership is to share expertise and resources to further meet the needs of prisoners with autism, learning difficulties and, or disabilities in custody.

This is a great honor for the Society and we look forward to finding out the results at the awards ceremony at The Newcastle/Gosforth Marriott Hotel on Thursday 29th October 2015.

Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Sadly we didn't win but we were honoured to be short listed and thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the evening with the other worthy charities and organisations.
