It’s the world’s favourite half marathon, it’s a hit with celebrities and sports stars alike. So don't miss out next year taking part on Sunday 12th, September, 2021.

Next September will now mark 40 years of the Great North Run, a milestone that coincides with the 40th anniversary of The North East Autism Society (NEAS). As part of this anniversary celebration we would like to build our biggest and best Great North Run team yet.

Join with the 56,000 runners taking part in the 13.1 mile iconic run stretching from Newcastle, along the coast finishing at South Shields.

The distance may seem daunting, but the carnival atmosphere on the day more than makes up for it. You don’t need to be the next future olympian to enter – but you will need to be someone who loves a challenge and to make memories. I mean, you won't find many runs where Mo Farrah, a smurf or a rhino can tackle the same course.
