Bad Hair Day – celebrating originality

It’s our passion here at the North East Autism Society to celebrate originality and uniqueness so for one day we want as many people as possible to be as distinctive and creative as they can be, by joining in with our Bad Hair Day.

By taking part your school will be helping the North East Autism Society raise vital funds to continue the round-the-clock services we provide to hundreds of children, young people and adults in the North-east - and you’ll have a whole lot of fun too.

For as little as £1 each, children and teachers alike can attend classes with mad mohawks, freaky fringes or loopy locks. You can even opt for a wacky wig if getting the bus to school with a blue barnet is just a bit too much!

And if sponsorship is something your school allows we’ve also set a really manageable target of just £5 per participant or £500 per school. Of course smashing targets is encouraged but there’s no obligation to do so.

This year Bad Hair Day will be on April 5th as part of Autism Awareness Week, but we’ll provide you with a poster to add your own time and date so you can host your event within the entire awareness-raising month.
