Special visit for Moon class

Thornhill Park School have been collecting food, toys, selection boxes and warm clothes to donate to Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen.

After a successful collection, the pupils and school council decided they wanted to make it a monthly donation and Josh and Aaron visited their warehouse this week to deliver this month’s collection. Staff at the Soup Kitchen were overwhelmed with our generosity and gave a big thank you to everyone who has donated to them.

We will continue to collect donations for the Soup Kitchen and take them to the warehouse every month. Any donation is gratefully received.

On Friday 17th July, Thornhill Park School at our Emsworth site came alive with music, laughter and celebration as learners and staff gathered for this year’s whole-school Prom. Held during the afternoon, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the end of another successful school year.
