Alex Makes Rocky Road

This week Green class learner Alex Kirby put his cooking skills to wonderful use by making a delicious batch of rocky road as part of developing his independent living skills. With great enthusiasm, Alex carefully followed the steps, combining chocolate, marshmallows and biscuits to create a fantastic finished treat.

This activity was more than just a fun baking session. It provided Alex with a valuable opportunity to build confidence, develop practical life skills and work more independently in a cooking area. His focus and positive attitude was clear throughout the task.

Everyone at MTC is very proud of Alex and his hard work and growing independence. The rocky road like many other treats Alex has made was a great success  and Alex continues to shine each week.
