Red Class - Remembrance Day

This week in Red Class all learners have been involved in creating a display for Remembrance Day which will be on view in the school grounds for all learners and staff to see ready for the Memorial Event on 11th of November.

Learners have taken part in various activities throughout the week, which focus on the annual event of Remembrance Day. Each class has made a wreath which will be added to the display on Tuesday 11th November. Knitted Poppys have also been made, to sell to staff and learners; this will contribute to Fundraising for Red Class.

Events such as these help learners to talk about life events and experiences and opens opportunities for discussion around feelings and emotions and to take interest in other people’s interests and demonstrates working collaboratively towards a shared goal.
