Not all of our staff have worked with people who have autism before they join the North East Autism Society. And we know they can only provide a great service if they feel happy, confident and relaxed in their roles.
So we are fully committed to providing a comprehensive induction and training schedule for every new member of staff.
Your training and education will continue throughout your career with us. Our knowledge and understanding of autism is increasing every day. And so will yours!
In your first few weeks with the society you will receive an induction which is fully tailored to your new role. And we are committed to a programme of continuous professional development for all staff.
Throughout your career with the North East Autism Society you will participate in ongoing behaviour management training as well as education and training which relates specifically to your role in the organisation.
We will encourage you to continue developing your skills and knowledge and provide the practical support you need to gain additional qualifications.
