Why we need you
Volunteer with the North East Autism Society and help make a difference to the lives of children and young adults affected by autism. By giving just a little of your time can make a difference.
Whether it’s fundraising, helping at one of our events or providing administrative support in our offices we’ll help you find the right role to suit you.
Benefits to you
Volunteering is a hugely rewarding experience and can help you develop your skills, knowledge and experience. Working as a volunteer can greatly improve your career prospects and enhance your CV.
There are also a lot of social benefits with volunteering, not only will you have fun but you’ll meet new people and make friends.
How You Can Volunteer
At An Event
Fundraising events are great fun whether it’s stewarding; taking photos, registration or helping in the fundraising office there is always plenty to do.
Fundraising Groups
Do you have a group of friends with some spare time to work as a team and raise funds for North East Autism Society? If you meet as a group on a regular basis you can co-ordinate your own fundraising activities and events for the society.
You could:
- Participate in street collections and bag packs.
- Help market events by distributing poster and flyers.
- Arrange your own fundraising events from abseils, race nights or fashion shows.
- Support will be available to you to ensure you have all the necessary information and tools to make your fundraising activities a success.
